Pastor Giles & Janel - Elijah
Giles grew up in the small, tourist town of St. Ignace, Michigan. He met his wife Janel while attending Northland Baptist Bible College. Their relationship grew as he served at Section Eight while attending school. Giles and Janel were married in April of 2003, and shortly after took a youth pastorate position at Grover Community Church. After a couple years, Giles felt God moving them to serve at Section Eight (Janel’s home church), which they began shortly before the end of 2005. Giles and Janel serve primarily with the youth (Teen Impact) and young adult (C.O.R.E. Group) ministries; having a passion to see them grow in their relationship with Christ—discipling them to disciple others.
